On Sunday, April 23, 2017, Tamara Foxworth-Vickers lost her two beautiful daughters, Destiny, age 20 and Jada, age 16, in a deadly fire in Queens Village. The fire claimed five lives in total. This devastating loss has touched the hearts of many across the nation.
Tamara has been a devoted staff member of the Department of Pediatrics at Mount Sinai Medical Center for the last 5 years. Many know her by her sunny personality and willingness to always go above and beyond. Tamara's girls were her life and she worked very hard for them.
