WELL, this is extremely hard for me to do but here it goes...
My name is Destinee for those of you that do not know me. I am 32 from Tucson Arizona. I am a mother of 2, currently attending school to obtain a Bachelor of Science in psychology, and I have been in the service industry for almost 14 years now. Saturday while moving my stuff into my new home, I fractured my ankle. From that moment till this one, it has been tough to grasp what my down time is looking like. With JUST a fractured ankle without surgery is 4 to 6 weeks healing time. Thursday, I find out whether or not I need the surgery, so healing time after that will be prolonged because I can't put any weight on it. I am really praying I don't need surgery.
Funds will be used for upcoming bills this month and groceries. The amount is what I would have made with other gigs that I had scheduled but had to cancel because of this incident. In this time that I am down, I will be looking for jobs at home (so if anyone has leads, please send it my way). I will be healing by doing what the doctors have told me to do and from the advice of others that have been in this situation.
I fought with myself on making a GoFundMe because I have always found a way. I have always worked; I have always provided.
I appreciate you for reading if you have got this far. Somethings I have learned from all of this is, slow down, watch your step, and appreciate the support you have even if it is one person. I would not have been moved it if it wasn't for my mom and others that helped me. I know my mom would appreciate this help too. Thanks guys.
