I am a 27 year old single mom. I have a wonderful 9 years daughter. I am a working citizen. I work with deaf education and special need children. 

July 2018 I was diagnosed with a rare aggressive form of Berger’s disease (IgA Nephropathy) this disease has caused me to go into stage V kidney failure in a matter of 10 months. 

Eventually I will need a kidney transplant. Until I am eligible I am in need of dialysis to continue living. I desire to do at home dialysis(Peritoneal PD)  so that I can keep a job to provide for my family.

*Update* I got my port inserted 6/7 now I’m am still working on starting dialysis after I am done with training.
