Destayehu's Medical Expense Fund

After battling liver failure from Hepatitis B for the past three years, Destayehu passed away peacefully on October 23, 2020. He is survived by his mother, a brother, and a sister. As the only one of his siblings here in the U.S., he carried his family's hopes and dreams. When he was healthy, he worked two and sometimes three jobs to help support his family. On behalf of his family and friends and the Ethiopian Community Association, we thank all that have donated. Because of your generosity, we will be able to send his remains to his family. Any leftover balance will be given to his mother, who has lost a son and a few months ago, a husband. Thank you for being a hope and a light in the midst of this tragedy. God Bless you all!!!
