Hello Family,

Those that know our mother Dessiree, knew that she called everyone her Family, greeted everyone with a kiss and big hug, but most importantly loved everyone hard. Mom gave her life to myself( her only daughter) Sarina, her “Big Baby Boy” Angel, and her “ Baby” Zane. Her dedication and love for her children is what personally has taught me how to be the mother that I am today.

On January 22,2022, Dessiree A. Mateo was called home to rest in eternal peace. She is survived by her three children; Sarina, Angel , and Zane, her three grandchildren; Denzel,Alana,and Carmelo, her son in law Fahiym. This isn’t something that any of us could have imagined or wanted to ever entertain the thought of. We have set this fund up in the hopes of raising funds to help with Dessiree’s funeral cost and the future needs both Sarina and Angel will come across now raising younger brother Zane.

Dessiree lived her life full of love for everyone. Those that knew her knew that she would cook her famous yellow rice and beans and feed the entire neighborhood ❤️ As I write this the tears are pouring down my face, just thinking of never being able to experience that kind of love and care again. As one can imagine, Dessiree’s passing is sudden and very unprecedented. As her children we only hope to bring half of the happiness mommy did with every hug and kiss to those that we meet. Thank You all for your support and love.
