Des’s Recovery

Des was badly injured due to a criminal act. 

We were at home, until the kids noticed a light outside by the time we got out the front Des realised it was his ute on fire. So as anyone would do he ran outside with the hose to put the fire out and unexpectedly it exploded on him. He has suffered burns to over 50% of his body. He is currently in Sydney Royal North Shore Hospital. We are from Kempsey so he is a long way from home. He is looking at a long recovery process. He won’t be able to work for quite some time. The donations will be going towards, medical expenses, travel and ongoing expenses.
