Desperately need help for a procedure

As a result of Covid, I was placed on furloughl. This is awful right now because of two things. I need a minor surgery done and now I’ll have to pay out of pocket. The second thing is that I am now a diabetic. I have to take massive quantities of insulin as my pancreas no longer produces any. Insulin is extremely expensive. The surgery may be partially covered by the hospital but I’ve been told to expect at least $2500 to be billed to me. My insulin is $2800 a month. No Walmart insulin will not help as I take so much (900-1000 units a day, so my insulin is concentrated), I would need to use 2.5 vials of the Walmart stuff a day to equal what I take.  That would be over $50 a day. I have messages out to the drug company to see if they can help but so far no luck. There is no patient program available. My doctor is trying to see what he can do but since I use so much, he can not give me enough samples to cover until I can get Medicaid. 

Update: I was denied for Medicaid since I am back to work. All of my disposable income/what’s left after rent/car/food is now going to this and I’m still short. Any help would be appreciated!
