Desperately Helping Susan

Our dear friend and coworker Susan Horn’s life took a wildly unexpected turn last week.

She received a call from her fiancé’s place of business advising that there had been an incident and she should come to the workplace now.

Curious and scared, she pressed for more information, but the caller was reluctant to provide. As she pressed, the fear rose up and shortly thereafter Susan received just about the worse news one can imagine.

Tony had died of a sudden heart attack.

Tony and Susan had plans for a wonderful future together. Susan had just given birth to a beautiful baby boy, Memphis, and she and Tony were making plans to get married. They had just purchased a house together.

Today, Susan’s hopes and plans for the future have been put on hold while she grieves and  mourns Tony’s death.

Susan is a strong willed person and a survivor. She will get past this and provide a great life for herself and Memphis, carrying Tony’s memory and his legacy.

As her work family and her friends, we want to help Susan and Memphis through this dark period in their lives.
