We need your help please. Our welfare officer Sandy has liaised and helped with all aspects to do with this little abandoned pony. We are now very happy to say that she will be coming tomorrow to Munchkins Miniature Shetland Rescue. Registered charity 1160509. The photo shows this little pony who has been named "Mystery".

It has been a complex rescue situation as there is also another pony, within 50 miles, who has been taken in by another lady and he desperately needs our help too. He was in such a state that the vet was surprised he could even eat. His teeth were absolutely dreadful, with 4 huge 'fangs' preventing his jaw moving sideways. He was also visibly terrified and emotionally withdrawn and shut down. He will continue to need extensive dental work and rehabilitation with our behaviourist.

Both ponies are now coming to us on Thursday 5th February at approximately 5pm. Our isolation area is ready.

Costs have spiralled and both need a huge amount of attention, veterinary care, hay, feed, bedding and health checks, passport , microchip as well as hooves, dental treatment, worming, vaccinations etc . These two are seemingly older ponies who deserve the best after their very traumatic backgrounds.
