My name is Rachel and I have lived across the street from Ms. Margaret for over 8 years now. Over these years, she has watched my sons grow up, has prayed for me more times than I can count, and has helped me through so many moments of sadness and weakness by just listening to me vent. So now it's time for me to help her!

PLEASE help me help Margaret Kidwell restore her home since her insurance refuses to!

You see, Ms. Kidwell is also a cornerstone of our community as a many decades-long resident of Berryville. She has dedicated her life to service, faith, and to the people of this town to this very day. Margaret is a beloved evangelist and preaches from time to time at her church where her warmth and spiritual guidance have touched countless lives as she continues to bring her message of love & kindness to us all. Her contributions have had a huge impact as a community member and have made this town a better place for everyone because of her lifetime of giving!

For years, Margaret has poured her heart into this community, always putting the needs of others before her own. Now, Margaret needs our help and I can't do it alone.

Due to her many health problems, and the financial strain that comes with them, Margaret has been unable to afford essential maintenance on the home she raised her now-grown children in, and her house is now in urgent need of repairs that address both safety and habitability ASAP!

The Urgent Need:

New flooring in some rooms, all new carpeting, new windows, appliances, fresh drywall in some areas where black mold was removed, a professional cleaning and a storage unit for her things while repairs are being done.

We are raising $10,000 to cover costs of the crucial repairs listed above, but if we can get enough, our repairs will include but not be limited to:

Tearing down her old condemned deck & building a new one

Roof and gutter repair

Electrical system updates

Repairing water damage in the basement

Pressure washing the outside

Security camera & flood lights
