I desperately need your help to keep my electricity on!!

Hi, my name is Paul. I'm 61 years old and a veteran of the US Air Force. I received a notice today saying that Ameren, my utility company, is disconnecting my gas and electricity on July 10th. I'm past due $689 and I desperately need YOUR HELP!! Please Donate or Share this message!!

Over this last winter and spring, my finances got pretty upside down, even after selling my car, and one of the things that I had to let go by the wayside, was the electric bill. There were actually enough other things (mortgage, food for me and my cat, ect), that required more attention, than their electric bill. This is the situation that I'm in now. Soon I won't have hot water, a working refrigerator or means to cook any food.

I'm in this position now because I broke my back at work in March of 2023 and in August of last year, the crooked worker's comp insurance company stopped paying me my benefits. My lawyer has come to a settlement with them but I won't be getting that check for another 4-6 weeks. My doctor says my back is slowly healing I should be able to back to work in a couple of months.

If you can find it in your hearts to help me and Midnight, I would greatly appreciate it very much. I don't like handouts and I have tried every local agency and charity and they have no funds available at this time. Even if you only donate $5, $3, a single dollar...you will be making a HUGE difference, in mine and Midnight's life and I will PAY IT FORWARD when I receive my settlement. That's a Promise!!
