Desperate need for Physio Therapy

Hi, my name is Lynda and I am hoping to raise money for Physio Therapy. I have developed foot drop. This is where you cannot move your foot upwards causing your foot to point downwards. When you walk your foot drags because it will not lift. I am a fall risk due to my foot and leg are weak. I have fallen backwards a few times and landed on the sofa or bed. I fell forward on to the floor and ended up in Emergency with a bruised left foot and leg. My foot drop is caused by my lower back issues, which causes weakness in my leg and lack of control of tendons and muscle. The pain is increasing everyday due to lack of physical therapy. I have been a transportation driver for over years. I was a school bus driver for 13 years, a taxi driver for 6 years, a mobility driver with passenger who had dementia and Acquired Brain Injury for 5 years. I then opened my own business for Seniors with dementia, Acquired Brain Injury, Aphasia verbal and non verbal, Parkinson’s and M.S. I have clients who either lost their driver licenses due to age, sight or partner. The majority of my clients are 80s to mid 90s. This May 8th is my 8th year in business but unfortunately because of driving for years it has caused lower back problems. I would push myself through pain so I would not disappoint my clients and made sure they went to their destination on time. I have regular clients who attend a day program for those with Cognitive impairments. I loved my job and I love my clients. Driving Seniors comes with a lot of losses and you can't help but fall in love with them and when they pass away it takes a piece of heart. I unfortunately can no longer drive due to my foot drop and I have been told by a Neurologist that it will take well over a year or more to get better without physical therapy. I have not made enough funds since covid and cannot afford Physio Therapy. Before covid I had a part-time driver that helped me with 120 clients a month. Then covid hit and I have never reached 50 clients a month. Last month I had 14 clients. I had many pass away due to heart attacks and age related as many were scared and lived alone. While I cannot drive my husband is trying to keep the business going but we are not making enough money for bills let alone Physio Therapy so I can get better. My clients miss me as I miss them. My fear is my business will have to shutdown within the next few months as we are going in debt trying to keep it open. Please help just a little so I can walk again. I am asking for this much funds so I can do Physio Therapy nonstop until I am able to walk normal and finally have my back feeling better. Thank you
