Desmond Taylor passed away unexpectedly on October 1st, 2024. Desmond was a devoted father to his 6-year-old daughter, Evalynn, and a devoted partner to his fiancée, Alanna. Desmond was a hard worker who was known around the office as our "Jack of All Trades." There was nothing Desmond wouldn't do to help someone. He would volunteer his time and weekends to help if someone at Cook and Boardman needed something done quickly. He took pride in his work and in his family. Desmond enjoyed the outdoors and doting on his little girl. His loss is a complete shock to all of us who knew, worked with, loved, and respected him as not only a coworker but a friend and person.

We would like to make sure that Evalynn and Alanna are taken care of for the future. No amount of money can replace the presence of a father or partner, but it can help with expenses they will incur over the next weeks, months, and years. We are asking that all friends, co-workers, fellow Cook and Boardman branches, and anyone else that knew Desmond please consider donating.
