As educators engaged in full time distance learning via Zoom, due to the current pandemic, we face the reality of our student's circumstance.  We see into the homes of many who struggle to find an adequate work space to attend online learning opportunities.

We want to challenge the tradition of school being defined as four walls away from home and instead ensure that all students can find success at school AND at home.  Why can't school be an integrated system of supports  provided by the student's school, community and family?  We believe the key for children to break out of the cycle of poverty is education. For many  students this can start with a desk: a defined space for them to show up, every morning and recommit to their future.

Co-teachers Brooke McMurry and Emily Atheson want to provide support, assistance, and opportunities to elementary aged children and their families. As community members and teachers, we implore your generosity to help us deliver as many desks as possible. 

ALL children can be successful with the support they need. Your donation will be put toward acquiring and delivering as many desks to as many children as we can. We must work together to set these students up for success!! 

What we once knew as normal wasn't good enough. Let's be better. Let's do better. Together.
