Desks for Kids by Grandpa's Kindness Workshop

Featured in the "Clayton Pioneer" and on ABC7 News: Building A Better Bay Area, "Grandpa's Kindness Workshop" has been making wooden "Buddy Dog" toys for children with cancer and chronic illnesses. Hundreds of toy dogs have been delivered to California hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has put the toy project on hold.
Grandpa is now making desks for kids and students in need of a learning space. Kids who are now learning from home are receiving these desks, FREE! Each 36 inch desk includes a smooth writing surface, study lamp, 6-socket power strip, and 2 USB ports. Each desk is assembled with Swiss precision and love. Desks are delivered around the Bay Area in Grandpa's little red truck.
Help Grandpa build more desks and show kindness to kids. Each desk costs around $65 in materials. All the labor comes from Grandpa and his neighborhood friends by sawing the lumber, sanding, assembling, and finishing each desk with pride and care for a recipient child. Each desk is built to last a lifetime.
