Desire’s Knee Surgery
We, the Havyarimana family are asking for your help to assist us in this tough moment. It’s been a couple of months since our son Desire was injured in his state qualifying game against Sahuarita. Desire has been a major part of the Palo Verde varsity soccer team since his freshmen year. Soccer is his number one passion.
Desire is also a member of the FC Sonora Dynamites club team where he plays along side refugee youths from all around Tucson. Desire was brought here to Tucson with our grandmother and he is still working on getting his citizenship as he has been here for only 4 years.
Our family cannot afford private insurance and Desire did not qualify by the NAIA to have his surgery paid for. We were asked by his doctors to come up with $16,500 dollars to pay for his necessary knee surgery. With the medical expenses our family has already spent $5,000 dollars.
Your help is really needed for our Havyarimana family at this time in order to have Desire walk correctly and eventually be back on the soccer field so that he can accomplish his goal to go to college as a student athlete.
Thank you all in advance for your help.
