Desiree’s Therapy Business Venture

It is with terrifying excitement to announce that I am starting my own pediatric therapy practice! Wonderkids Occupational Therapy! Being in rural Florida I have found it difficult to find a place that has a big heart for kids AND the employees who treat them. Being that I thrive on not only ethics in practice but in loving special needs kids and their families, I decided to take a leap and go out on my own!

I have already registered my company and have obtained the legal documents and required certifications and medical IDs. I already have a few self pay clients and am currently working on creditialing with insurance companies so I can start accepting insured patients.

I am hoping beyond hope to avoid a business loan for my start up costs which will include office supplies, electronic medical record systems, standardized testing kits, equipment, and deposits for rent and building space. I will forever be grateful for anything (and I mean anything) you can give towards accomplishing this goal to get Wonderkids Therapy started with as little to no debt as possible.

Every dollar will be a blessing and a step towards loving families in my area. Just as much, I would appreciate your prayers, happy thoughts, encouraging words, and business advice!! Can’t wait to share all the amazing things my WonderKids will accomplish! My goal is to hit the ground running by end of August as I transition from my current outpatient position and go out on my own! Thanks for believing in me.
