What you'll hear on DPR: Music, talk, educational, documentary, experimental, archival.
Why now? Our connection to the earth is central. Now is a critical time to return to (our) nature and get curious about the intersection of the outdoors with different mediums and practices.
DPR is a platform for information exchange and create expression. We need forums beyond social media, and outside the influence of AI, where people are encouraged to create, learn, and share ideas.
Why radio? DPR celebrates radio broadcast as an accessible tool for discourse, entertainment, and world building.
What will these funds go toward?
- Regular maintenance of the station, including subscriptions to Gmail, website host, audio streaming service,
- Future app build.
- Application fees for grants and funding.
