WHO WE ARE
Design.District is an art initiative focusing on teaching the entreprenuerial aspects of practical graphic design skills, apparel production and manufacturing to youth, 12-18, who traditionally have limited access to contemporary art forms such as digital art, fashion, and photography.
OUR FOUNDER
Somos Thompson, an apparel designer and brand engineer, who founded Design.District to create a platform for youth to explore an opportunity that was void during his adolescent years in inner city Washington D.C. This collective, in addition to a host of volunteers and artists, share the common interest of using fashion to encourage youth development and acheivement.

With your financial support, we can help inspire youth and assist them in reaching their creative aspirations. 100% of the funds donated will be used towards our buying supplies for activations and pop-up shop supplies.
