Design for Hope

What is Design For Hope? 
Every year, together with our trade partners and vendors, we use our skills and resources to give back to the community. This year, we are revamping the home of a very deserving and inspirational family in need of renewed hope and a fresh start. 

Meet The Nikolic Family
The Nikolics are an incredibly inspiring family, who are dedicated to giving their children the opportunity to live a fulfilling life. However, this family is faced with challenges that many of us will never truly understand.  Mark and Hilary have three boys: A 24-year-old son, who is graduating from U of T, and 22-year-old twin boys with autism. 

Both boys are developmentally delayed, have severe behavioral issue, and suffer from epilepsy, requiring 24-hour supervision. 

The Nikolic family has continuously made sacrifices as a family to ensure that they can give their boys the best quality of life possible. This includes but is not limited to, connecting them with the best and most current programming available, despite the cost, and remortgaging their home to accommodate these expenses. 

How We're Helping
The team at Stacey Cohen Design is committed to renovating this family's home with help from our industry partners, who are donating their time and a large portion of the materials required.

What We Need
Despite donations from our partners, there are additional materials needed to complete the project. The intention of this GoFundMe campaign is to not only cover the expenses related to the renovation, but to also help the Nikolic family pay off their mortgage. 

Despite the challenges this family has faced, they remain upbeat and grateful for what they do have. Lets pay it forward and help be the hope this family so greatly needs.
