On October 13, 2025, our hearts were completely broken as we said goodbye to our beautiful sister, Desi. After nearly two years of fighting cancer with incredible strength, grace, and courage, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by love. Though we are heartbroken beyond words, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and no longer suffering.

Desi was so much more than her diagnosis. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend someone who cared deeply and gave selflessly. She had a heart full of love and a smile that could light up any room. Even through her toughest battles, she continued to show kindness, faith, and strength.

She loved her children deeply and always put her family first. She was the kind of aunt who made her nieces and nephews feel special and loved every time they were around her. They knew they could go to Auntie Desi for anything. Desi faced many challenges in life, but she always managed to rise above them leaning on her faith and her love for her family.

As we face this painful loss, our family is asking for help to cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as to support her children during this difficult time. Any amount, big or small, will help lighten the financial burden as we honor Desi’s life and legacy.

All funds raised will go directly toward her service expenses, meals and anything her children or family may need in the coming weeks. If there are any remaining funds after expenses, they will be given directly to her children.
