Aloha, I’m Jayme the sister of Desi and sister in law of Waka. As some of you may know Desi and Waka struggled with infertility. Their dreams of welcoming a baby into their lives ended in heartbreak after experiencing a traumatic miscarriage in 2018. A year after Desi was informed with the devastating news that she wouldn’t be able to conceive naturally and they started their IVF journey at The Fertility Institute Of Hawaii on Oahu. With many ups and downs, failed attempts, and continuous doctor’s appointments, they were finally able to produce embryos. This will be their 3rd round of IVF treatment which is not covered by health insurance. This has put a strain on them physically, emotionally and financially. With the rising cost of travel, medications, and the entirety of this process they humbly ask for any donations, prayers and good wishes to complete this journey and become parents once again.
