My daughter, Erica's little 4 lb. Yorkie named Desi got mauled by her neighbor's Pit Bull when he got out and attacked Desi in my daughter's yard!!! Dogs are considered property and the police really cannot do much other than give the neighbor a citation. Poor little guy is fighting for his life with puncture wounds to his side, pulmonary bruising, and 4 cracked ribs.

He is the sweetest little boy and deserves a chance to live. Luckily, the emergency vet said that he may not need the surgery they thought he would, but he has to stay in the oxygen chamber and now an extended stay at the emergency center. Anyone that has used these surgery centers knows that they are very expensive, and her vet bills are racking up on her Care Credit.

Erica is a single mom and is raising her teenage son all by herself, so any help she can get would be greatly appreciated.
