Save Desert Roots Kitchen

My name is Christian Wright and I've been working at Desert Roots kitchen for over a year, seeing many ups and downs in the economy and flow of business in the entire Mill Avenue district. I am reaching out to our wonderful community because this is a critically challenging time and DRK is in dire need of your support to cover costs of unexpected expenses and basic operating needs, which is currently a critical challenge. 
 
At the current moment we are in dire need of repairing and replacing expensive equipment; such as our refrigerator,  one of our dual system hot water heaters, and non compliance fees. Due to these major issues, we are in jeopardy of our operating permit being revoked by the health department. It is imperative that we resolve these issues within the next week. 
 
Throughout these past 5 years, Leslie Robin has owned and operated this special business on her own, completely independent, 100% grassroots, with no investors, no credit card, no assets, nor back up capital.  Just pure integrity, joy, love, passion, an amazing staff, a chef's knife, and mindful ingredients. Therefore, any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
