First, thank you for coming to this GoFundMe campaign!

 

We at Deseo Studios are so proud to serve the San Diego community for over 13 years & Chula Vista for the last 3 years! During the pandemic we were severely impacted financially, unfortunately no different than most businesses out there. Although we were forced to be closed over 15 months, the rent was accruing.

 

After negotiations w our Mall Management in Otay Ranch, we've come to a solution that works for all parties.

 

We will be moving into a different unit in the mall & taking on a Temporary Lease (in place of our Permanent Lease). This move was not something that was planned or desired, but due to the pandemic's impact, it's the least expensive way to stay 'alive' for our students.

 

EXPENSES:

•Paying down a percentage of the COVID rent debt accrued.

$40k

 

•Relocating into the new unit & setting up the space by code with functionality for our students.

$20k

 

•The full rent COVID debt is an additional 40k to be paid monthly, so any above the goal of 60k is very much appreciated.

 

We kindly ask for your donations & support as we do our absolute best to raise funds to keep the studio alive! We need to try to reach our goals by November 3rd.

 

Deseo Studios has been a staple of our dance community here in San Diego. We love of our students, the dance community, helping one another, providing jobs for dance instructors, and bringing joy to the people of Chula Vista where our studio calls home. In these turbulent times, we can all come together and help one another. We thank you SO DEEPLY for your consideration, and for your support. We promise do our absolute best to pay your good intentions forward, as we move into our next chapter.. together!
