Hi, my name is Domonique Foster and my family and friends lost my son Desean Foster on Sunday September 17th, 2023. Desean was on 19 years old. My son was diagnosed with Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder in 2021 which is a rare autoimmune disease. This disease caused an array of health issues that affected his ability to walk, and caused vision impairment. This was especially hard on him because he was one of the star basketball players for Hammond High School. Desean had liver transplant on 10/20/20 which was a success thankfully but other complications occurred. We ask for help to give him the proper homecoming he deserves.
