My name is Mildret. I am 25 years old and I am the only child of both my mother and father. My dad passed away at 49 years old on Thursday, 3/14/24, of a heart attack.

My dad, Carlos, was a smart, observant, hard working man who valued responsibility and gave 100% of himself in everything did. He was an ambitious and goal oriented man, who encouraged others to always do their best. He was a wise man. He demonstrated love in his own way & I feel honored knowing I was the person he treasured and loved the most in his short life.

I’d like to think his death was painless, and I’m grateful to God for being gentle and patient with him up until his last breath.

The funds gathered from your contribution will assist with the expenses of his funeral service in the U.S. and repatriation of his body to Mexico. God willing, the goal is for my dad to be buried in Mexico, our home country. A funeral service will take place in the U.S. where his friends and family will have the opportunity to share a final moment with him prior to his body being transported to Mexico. In Mexico, his mother will have the opportunity to be with him after 20 years of not seeing him & his wish of being laid to rest next to his father will be granted.

Your contribution will also assist my grandmother with the expenses involved in Mexico for my dad’s burial.

It comforts me knowing his body will be surrounded by all those who appreciated him. I know he feels the same.

Mi papá, Carlos, era un hombre inteligente, observador, un gran trabajador que valoraba la responsabilidad y entregaba el 100% de sí mismo en todo lo que hacía. Era un hombre ambicioso y orientado a objetivos, que animaba a los demás a hacer siempre lo mejor que podían. Era un hombre sabio. Él demostró amor a su manera y me siento honrada de saber que fui la persona que él más atesoró y amó en su corta vida.

Quiero pensar que su muerte no fue dolorosa y agradezco a Dios por haber sido gentil y paciente con el hasta su último aliento.

Los fondos recaudados de su contribución ayudarán con los gastos de su funeral en los Estados Unidos y la repatriación de su cuerpo a México. Si Dios quiere, el objetivo es que mi papá sea enterrado en México, nuestro país de origen. Se llevará a cabo un funeral en Estados Unidos donde sus amigos y familiares tendrán la oportunidad de compartir un último momento con él antes de que su cuerpo sea transportado a México. En México, su madre tendrá la oportunidad de estar con él después de 20 años de no verlo y su deseo de descansar junto a su padre se cumplirá.
