Alliance Fleuve Saint-Laurent

L'Observatoire international des droits de la Nature travaille depuis 2018 à faire reconnaître la personnalité juridique et des droits au Fleuve Saint-Laurent et des Fleuves du monde afin de mieux protéger ces milieux vivants. S'inspirant du cas de la Nouvelle-Zélande (Rivière Whanganui), du Fleuve Atrato en Colombie et de la Rivière Magpie (Mutehekau Shipu) au Canada, notre équipe fait des démarches conjointement avec les Premières Nations pour qu'une personnalité juridique et des droits puissent être reconnus à ce grand Fleuve au Canada. Une équipe bénévole est dédiée à cette mission, composée surtout des femmes de diverses origines. Appuyez notre travail pour provoquer un changement de paradigme vers une transition écologique. The International Observatory for the Rights of Nature has been working since 2018 to have the legal personhood and rights of the St. Lawrence River and the Rivers of the World recognized, in order to better protect these living environments. Inspired by the case of New Zealand (Whanganui River), the Atrato River in Colombia and the Magpie River (Mutehekau Shipu) in Canada, we are taking steps in concert with First Nations to provoke a paradigm shift in Canada.
