Coach Deryl Cunningham, current Highland High School varsity boys basketball coach, was diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 5.  Unfortunately, COVID exasperated other underlying health conditions and Deryl has been hospitalized with kidney failure.  Where COVID is no longer the main concern, kidney failure is.  Deryl has been placed on the emergency kidney transplant list.  

DC is not only a fantastic coach, but a wonderful husband to wife Maria, and amazing father to Ciara and Braylen.  Donations are being accepted for his family to assist with medical bills and current needs.
