Hey guys. I really hate asking for help, especially financially, but I figured it was worth a shot.

I haven’t been able to work since the beginning of December and I’m really falling behind on my bills.

I got really sick last month and eventually went to the ER to find out that I was in diabetic ketoacedosis and ended up being in the hospital for a week trying to get my levels back to normal. I was hours away from having to be put into the ICU. I also had cellulitis and had to get a debridement surgery to solve that.

Then, about two weeks ago, the day I was supposed to go back to work, I went back to the ER with horrible stomach pains. Ended up finding out that I have severe chronic pancreatitis with pseudocysts, and have been in the hospital since waiting for the cysts to mature enough in order to have surgery. I’m going to have an internal drain and an external drain for 3 months to get rid of the necrotic fluid in the cysts. My surgery is finally scheduled for Monday, the 3rd.

I’m not sure when I will be able to go back to work, so I’m reaching out for some help. Thanks in advance for anyone and everyone who’s able to help, even if it’s just sharing this post for me.

A big shout out to my family and friends who have been there for me to lean on, and everyone who has checked/keeps checking on me. I’m having a rough time mentally and knowing I have a good support system is definitely helping.
