Derricks furbabies and partner need your help

unexpectedly and tragically i have lost my life partner and best friend Derrick Taro at the young age of 42. He was the most wonderful human being ive ever been blessed to have known. His loss has not only impacted me but i know the countless friends family members and acquaintances he has will miss his energetic positive light of life.

currently i have been out of work for two years due to an accident that caused me extreme pain and a life time disability. Derrick was nothing short of incredible and my rock. He was patient kind and helpful. Even on days I know I drove him insane asking him to take the garbage out because I can’t lift or this or that he still smiled and did it for me because he loves me. If I have any advice looking back now it’s just enjoy each other. You never know when the person will be gone no matter their age. I hope he found comfort with me in his final moments.

I had shoulder surgery in April of 2023 that was unsuccessful and am going through more testing to see if i need a second surgery or what treatment plan we can try to help ease my constant and debilitating pain. With my physical restrictions i am unable to work currently. Derrick and i shared an apartment together for the last ten beautiful years with our two furbabies that were our actual human children (just really furry and barky). Unfortunately without an income i am now being forced to move from our home we built together and have no idea what me and our babies are going to do. Any financial assistance from friends and family would be incredibly helpful to help me navigate these dark waters during this incredibly difficult time. I know Derrick would want me to stay positive and be taken care of. He wouldn’t want to see me and our babies suffering emotionally and or financially.
