A teacher and mentor of our community is in need of our help. Our dearest friend and teacher Derrick Curtis must have surgery on Monday. All who know Derrick, know of his fight and unique spirited way of living life. He's taught my children how to love music, dance and life.  He now must have his leg amputated from the knee down.  He is excited to know that he will get a new prosthetic leg and will be back to living an active lifestyle as he did before. If all goes well  he will be up and moving around in 3 months. He will be our Bionic Man. Send prayers for a speedy recovery. We look forward to Derrick having no more pain and suffering. We will keep you posted.
