Derrick Coney

Hi my name is Chelec and I am the niece of Lenora .I’m doing this fundraiser to raise the funds needed to cover the funeral and transport cost for the unexpected death of Derrick Coney the son in law of my auntie Lenora and the husband of my cousin LaVona , the daughter of Lenora.

Derrick was loved by many, as he was very active in his community, from being a football coach, to being a foster dad , working with the handicapped, and recently him and his wife adopting their first child.

A few months ago Derrick was let go from his job, that he worked for the last 4 years. Derrick loved his job managing a group home for disabled people. But with the loss of his job he also lost his insurance, which means there is no money to cover his funeral, burial and transportation back home to Ft. Lauderdale from Ohio were he lived.

I’m reaching out to you today, for any amount of assistance to help my family lay my cousin to rest. Again his death was so unexpected it has left a burden on our family.
