Derrek Schlottmann Fighting Glioblastoma Fund
Donation protected
Derrek turned 50 on January 11th of this year. On February 23rd he was diagnosed with two tumors. It's amazing how fast cancer turns your world upside down. Derrek's tumors unfortunately are not operable, so he is fighting this cancer with everything the doctors can throw at it.
Halfway through his chemo and radiation he ended up back in the hospital with brain swelling. This actually ended up being a good thing, since they discovered a third tumor and were able to add a new chemo treatment specifically to target this tumor.
Glioblastoma is a very nasty and aggressive cancer. Derrek has managed to keep his sense of humor throughout this process. Derrek likes to say cancer is an expensive hobby and he wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Derrek had to leave his job due to cancer and I left mine to take care of him. That being said, we are raising money to help with medical bills. Please donate whatever you can. Thank you for your support.
