Deron Leutenegger, CMSD Art Teacher-Fundraiser

Deron Leutenegger, husband/father/son/CMSD art teacher and union rep/Green Bay Packers fan, needs our help. Deron was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer in July 2021. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy, which has been a difficult road. There have been many ER visits with fever and other complications- even needing an appendectomy in the midst of this battle, delaying his treatments. We are all positive and hopeful that this tumor will shrink and surgery can happen. Deron has, nevertheless, remained

DERON STRONG! He continues to work at his art during treatments- painting and creating digital art.

 

Deron has taught at Jamison, Tremont, Watterson-Lake,  New Tech West, and most recently at Garrett Morgan.
