Welcome to the official fundraising page for Deri RFC Junior team’s international tour to France to participate in La fete du rugby French rugby festival taking place 1-4 May 2026.
This is an incredible opportunity for our young players to experience not only international culture but to play the game they love at the highest level and make lifelong friendships through rugby.
To raise funds we’re challenging our young superstars to a series of tough tasks including:
- Two peak challenge.
- Cycling as a team the distance from our beloved rugby club in the small village of Deri to the tournament venue in France - some 337 miles using a series of exercise bikes and equipment.
Parents of the players are also getting involved with the fund raising carrying out sponsored quiz nights and organised car washes.
As you can imagine nothing is cheap these days so every donation no matter how big or small helps. We’d be extremely grateful for your kind donation which will go towards providing a fantastic experience and memories that these young players will remember for a lifetime.
