Derek's Snowdon Climb
During 2021, I will be doing various activities to raise money for the Cots for Tots Appeal. In August I will be climbing Snowdon Mountain with the hope of raising £4,000 to pay for 300 pairs of Miniboo's. These are used for bonding so that babies can still smell and feel connected to their mum or dad, even when they are away from them, for example overnight.
This charity is close to my heart due to my own personal experience. My son was born 4 month’s early and weighing less than 2lbs. He was given a 30% chance of survival but despite all the odds he spent 7 months in the Neonatal unit in Bristol before coming home in January 2011. He was on home oxygen for four months. He is our little miracle boy and doing really well.
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Cots for Tots Appeal (Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation), and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
