Hi all,
My name is Claudette Archer. I live in Blackstock, Ontario, Canada. I'm starting this go fund me for our very close friends Harry & Melanie Wright who live in our community. Melanie's brother Derek Williams and his wife Sherry live in a small town called Mullins, South Carolina. They lost everything due to Hurricane Matthew. They lived on a river that was 750 ft wide and quickly grew to 7 miles wide. They had 6-7 ft of water in their home and it was condemned. They also lost their vehicles and all their outdoor possessions too. I'm hoping that we can all show our compassion for their loss and help them out financially in any way we can as their insurance will only cover a portion of their loss. The monies received will go towards helping them replace their lost possessions. All CDN funds will be converted to US funds. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Accumulated cdn funds will we converted to US and I will send a US check directly to Derek and Sherry Williams. The funds will be used to rebuild their home and contents from inside and outside of their home as insurance will only cover a portion of their expenses.
