It is with great sadness that we inform you of the untimely passing of Derek Rasmussen in a tragic single-car accident on County Road B on the afternoon of September 1st. Derek was a beloved son, father, boyfriend, friend, uncle, brother, cousin, and nephew.

Although he faced challenges in his life, Derek was committed to improving his circumstances and was on a positive path towards a better future. Regrettably, Derek did not have life insurance, and his family is currently facing financial difficulties, having recently lost another family member, Derek's aunt Sue, earlier this year.
