Derek's New Wheel Chair

August 9, 2009 My brother, Derek,  was in a freak diving accident while on family vacation at Outer Banks that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Since his accident, Derek has been very limited in where he can go because of the type of wheelchair he has.  It is over 10 years old now and needs to be replaced.  He has found a great company who he is working with to build a chair that is much more all terrain! He would finally be able to go outdoors to places he hasn't been able to enjoy since his accident.  His insurance with cover all except $3,500.00 of the cost.
