Derek Whipps Memorial Bench Fundraiser

Derek Whipps, was an incredible friend to all and amazing member of our disc golf community. His wife Carey and I would like to raise funds to purchase and install a Memorial Bench for him on Hole 18 at Raptors Knoll Disc Golf Park. This was the hole that Derek and Carey took pride in volunteering to maintain over the years. Many people, including myself, have many memories of sitting with Derek at RK, enjoying a good visit with so many laughs. Having a bench to honor him, and remind us of him every time we finish our round at Raptors Knoll would truly be special to all those fortunate enough to have known Derek.

We are reaching out to see if you would be interested in contributing to this.

The costs involved are $1125.60 for the bench, and $250 to purchase supplies to install a concrete pad to place the bench on; For a total of $1375.

This fundraiser will be closed once this amount is reached.
