A Lasting Tribute in Derek Stubbs' Beloved Community

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Derek Stubbs, who left us on August 4, 2024, at the age of 84. Derek was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose gentle spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Derek was born in Birkenhead, England, and immigrated to Canada with his family in the early 1960s. It was in Port Credit, Ontario, where Derek met the love of his life, Rosmarie. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising their children, Mark and Kelly, in the community they cherished.

As a proud and devoted grandfather to his four grandsons—Kyle, Branden, Scott, and Morgan—Derek’s love for his family was evident in every moment they spent together. His legacy of kindness, love, and compassion will continue to inspire and guide them for generations to come.

In memory of Derek, we are raising funds to place a memorial park bench in a location that was dear to him. This bench will serve as a lasting tribute to Derek’s life and the joy he brought to his family, friends, and the Port Credit community.
