This gofundme has been set up to remember Derek Meneghin and celebrate the amazing life he lived while supporting his family going forward. His obituary (https://www.dignitymemorial.com/en-ca/obituaries/burnaby-bc/derek-meneghin-12306743) reads:

"With shattered hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Derek Emil Meneghin on March 23, 2025. Born on March 4, 1976, Derek left us far too soon, but not without leaving an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Derek was the beloved husband and soulmate of Samantha, and the fiercely proud father of Harrison (20) and Georgia (17), whose lives he built his world around. Derek was a steady protector, a guiding force, and the kind of dad who showed up—on the sidelines, in the stands, and in every quiet in-between moment—with his whole heart."

We have set up this gofundme to remember Derek and to support his family as they go through these extremely trying times. In particular, these funds will support future education for Derek's children, Harrison and Georgia.
