Derek Jackson Caddy Restore
Donation protected
On December 18, 2013, days before Christmas, loving father and Quad City local artist Derek James Jackson of Rock Island, Illinois, was brutally murdered at his home with his son asleep upstairs. This tragic event shook our entire community and touched the hearts of everone who knew him. He was loved by many for his lively spirit, loving heart, and his talents as a local tattoo artist. One of Dereks prized possesions was his 1963 Cadillac. Anyone who knew Derek, knew this car. Derek had been slowly restoring the Cadillac with hopes that one day he would pass it on to his only son Remi James Jackson. The car has been kept in storage thus far. LOVE and help is needed to make it happen. 100% of all funds rasied will go towards restoring the Caddy. The more we come together, the more that will get done. It has come time to get this started as the car continues to deteriorate. This restore will mean so much to Dereks family and ultimately his son Remi. Each and every name who donates will be put on a plaque as a dedication to Dereks wishes and some day Remi will have this along with the car. Unaminous donations are happily accepted. Before, during and after pictures will be taken showing this WISH come a REALITY!
