Derek Gaskin family

UPDATE! I am SO overjoyed to say that Derek is awake, at home, and recovering everyday! We are so, so thankful for everyone that gave your support and prayers. Derek still has a long road ahead of him and is currently unable to work. He is still waiting on support from disability. Johnna is working when she can, but is Dereks main caregiver and needs to be wirh him as well as King, their baby son. If you are able to help please consider donating. Derek needs to be focusing on being with his family and getting stronger.

I created this GoFundMe for our dear friend Derek Gaskin and his family. Derek has been in the hospital with Pneumonia since Dec 26th 2022 and was just put on a ventilator this past Friday Jan 13 2023. He is conpletely sedated and not concious currently.

Derek has a blended family with his girlfriend Johnna. They have 5 children together. Two older boys, Jayden (13) Jarell (12), two younger girls, Destiny (8), Jayla (6), and a brand new baby boy, just born last July, named King. Johnna is in desperate need of help. The medical bills are increasing daily. Johnna is on a single income now, taking care of 5 children and visiting Derek daily. Their living situation is not stable and they are in desperate need of help. Please if you are willing and able, consider donating to help them.
