In the wee hours on December 7th, Michelle and Derek’s garage caught fire. An anonymous caller reported the fire and Watrous fire responded.

Their quick response saved the house and everyone is safe and sound

However, lost in the fire was their two children’s Christmas presents and their hockey equipment. Fishing is their “family happy place” activity and all gear was lost. In addition fridge, freezer, camping equipment, tools and hunting gear also was damaged and lost to the fire.
