Dereje's (Kachu) medical Bill & funeral expenses
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Darajje Ettaffa Haile, known as Kachu, was born and raised in Gimbi, Western Wallaga Oromia. Kachu is known to many of us as his easy-going personality. He brought laughter to many souls and those who know him, young and old, enjoy his company. Kachu is a peace-loving advocate for human rights, justice, and freedom and has dedicated most of his life and resources to promoting these causes. Kachu has been a loud voice for the voiceless.
A few months ago, Kachu fell ill and was referred to medical treatment in India for a chronic heart problem he was diagnosed and treated for a couple of years in ETHIOPIA. In India, Kachu received successful heart surgery, had a Pacemaker implanted, and was discharged after his full recovery. While traveling home, with transit through Dubai, he became critically sick and was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure, and admitted into intensive care. Since then, he has been on dialysis and receiving other related treatments in the Dubai Hospital. But unfortunately he passed away this morning, and my heart aches to hear this bad news. We all miss him.
Now, Kachu's body has to return home to his family as soon as possible. However, the hospital in Dubai will not release the body until his medical bill is fully paid. Kachu’s family needs our help to pay the medical bill for the hospital that treated him in Dubai, and to return his body home.
Many of you have asked how you can assist him, so this GoFundMe account has been created to help Kachu’s family get the funds to pay the medical bills to the Dubai hospital, and to take his body home. Please donate and share the message with all friends. Our deepest condolences to his family
God Bless you all
