Help James Recover-Re-Unite -Rebuild

Hi there, I’m James, and I need some help, and my family needs your help to Recover from Mold Pneumonia, Reunite with my wife and family, and Rebuild our lives, home, and business. This is all from a Black Mold Infestation in all my walls and ceilings that make me deathly ill from it. The Cause Of Black Mold & Why We Need To Rebuild The black mold came from the Derecho of Aug 10, 2020, caused unknown water to get in my walls ceiling on both levels and attic too. All covered in the inside walls where the sheetrock attaches to the 2 x 4 frame. And we didn’t know about the water damage until about 8 weeks after the Derecho. Then every tape mark on the walls and ceiling showed through the sheetrock when I started to get sick. And my insurance company was aware of the water damage, and they said it was caused by inadequate attic ventilation caused all the water damage-saying they were not responsible it was my fault. So It couldn’t be the 140 MPH we had and the 3 inches of rain that came at the same time. So anyways, the damage to remediate the mold and rebuild have to take down to the 2 x 4 studs, then spray plastic on them to seal in the mold then you got to rebuild everything. The quote was $200,000.00, and that is why they fought us. I am so mad that they get way with this. For those who have bought a house, you know they go up rear end with a microscope make you get every kind of insurance as well. You think your covered, right? Well, I would think again and really check this out. That really puts us in another hard place we owe $179,000.00 on the property with no insurance to pay for the repair or complete rebuild. It may be awhile before we can live together. Thank God, my wife and 2 young adult sons don’t seem to be affected by the Black Mold like I am. The Health Damage From Black Mold I have been hospitalized 13 times from Jan 31, 2021, through Feb 20, 2022. I went into respiratory arrest 3x where they didn’t think I was going to make it back. And on top of that in Sept 2021 I went in for CT Scan of lungs to see if the inflammation was going down. And they discovered three tumors in my lungs. One was 28 mm in one month since my last CT Scan. It was non-cancerous. “Thank God” but was caused by inflammation & irritation to my lungs from Black Mold in my house. In Aug 2021, They found out it was Black Mold in my house causing pneumonia. They thought then it was an allergic auto-immune to the Black Mold through testing. I just wish we would of found this out the first hospital visit, IKR. I stayed out of my house 95% of the time, like 10-15 minutes a day to use the bathroom and shower. I thank God we had a RAGBRI Bus/RV given to us earlier. Because from Aug 1, 2021, I had to live in this Bus/RV, and my condition cleared up or so I thought. Then over the holidays, my sons were all home, and I stayed in the house maybe 6-8 hours cumulatively. But that was too much exposure to the Black Mold in our house. That led me into the ER going into respiratory arrest on Jan 8, 2022. This time an infectious disease doctor gave the diagnosis of Fungal Black Mold Pneumonia I’m on an anti-fungal drug for many more weeks it still hasn’t completely cleared. The doctor said that this is the hardest kind of infection a mold infection, to get rid of out of bacteria, virus, and fungus mold the worst. The pulmonary doctors said they would probably not be able to pull me back if this happened again. Each of the 3 x went into respiratory arrest, it took more anti-inflammatory medication antibiotics. And more extended time on oxygen to breathe. This last time took 21 days before I could breathe room air alone without oxygen. The pulmonary doctors said to stay out of my house, the source of the Black Mold. Because it was going to probably get me the next time. That is harder to do than people realize. But know they are right. And have since Jan 8, 2022. But this has caused so many problems financially, logistically, in my marriage, in life in general. I have possibly found an attorney to fight the insurance company, but that route to get them to pay might take a few years to accomplish. So I have in all $235,000.00 damage from the Derecho. I can live in Bus/RV in another month or so. But too cold still now and I’m to weakened from the last time in hospital to do it. How You Can Help Us Through Your Donation Recovery – I need funds to live away from my house to continue to recover, motels, extra gas, food, and other expenses. Like the gym, fees to recover my body in swimming pool at first and low impact exercise. To live alone and have double bills, we can't sustain this much longer. The homeless prevention advocate at the Iowa City VA Hospital said that “in all her 15 years of helping people, there was no program that I would fit into too much income to be poor, but not enough income to live apart and sustain it.” The motels are $60-$90 a night no matter what dive motels, not a high-end luxury motel. Repair – The night before I went to the ER on Jan 7, 2022, the transmission & transfer case went out on my 2019 Equinox it is going to cost a lot of money to repair. When it rains, it pours, but truthfully it can always be worse Reunite – I need to be able to live with my family and if that means an extended stay AIRBNB or something like that extended stay motel, for a few months. The financial stress and strain on our marriage, is not good for us we can’t connect much. And Pam has the added responsibility alone right now. We have 2 special needs young adult sons one with Autism & Epilepsy and needs 24/7 someone with him. At least when I was home I could take up some of the 24/7 attention he requires. So funds to live together my wife and 2 young adult sons. So we can figure out the house situation through summer -- early fall. Rebuild – Our Lives through living together as a family long term. Taking the stress away from Pam by being able to help take care of my 2 sons. So, when the funds come in, we will go to long-term housing for us until we can demolish the house and put a trailer on it so we can all live together on our acreage. Rebuild – Our House, when the funds come in from the fundraiser. We need to pay off our mortgage so we can burn down our house to completely get rid of the mold infestation. This is the only way to ensure I can live there in the new house. Then when the funds come in it will be used to demolish the old house and put a used double-wide trailer on the property – to be able to live on our property again. Then when the funds come in or we get a construction loan to rebuild a new house as the goal.. Rebuild – My Business I am working on an energy-saving project that makes Hydrogen on Demand to increase the fuel efficiency of diesel motors in Semi Trucks by 25-30%. I also have a few other projects I am working on, like mobile power trailers. I have work in progress on the trailers, and when I recover enough will start working on this again. Some of the funds may be used for this too.
