I’m running the Edinburgh marathon on Sunday 24th May 2026, with my sister Lisa, and I’m raising money to benefit Derbyshire Blood Bikes a local charity who support DHU and our patients by delivering blood samples to our local hospitals.

Derbyshire Blood Bikes provide a medical courier service for the NHS. The charity aim is to save the NHS money and to help medical services bring timely treatments to our community.

With a team of volunteers, including our very own Ian Ware, and a fleet of motorcycles and cars, they respond to requests from the local NHS for the transport of - Diagnostic samples - Medication - Blood and blood products - Equipment - Documents - Donated human milk.

Any donation no matter how small will benefit this great charity and get me through this tough challenge - Thankyou!
