Derby Royal Stroke Ward (410)
Hi Guy’s, So literally a couple of weeks ago now, my world nearly fell apart when my Wonderful Wife was rushed into hospital after suffering a major stroke!! Fortunately due to the Absolutely Amazing staff we have at The Royal Derby Hospital, and the fact she is an absolute fighter, she is still with us to tell the tail.
This is purely down to the quick thinking and experience of the whole team on the stroke ward (410), and for this we will forever be grateful, and indebted to them.
So thinking about what I could do to repay them in some way, and knowing about how I feel about heights (yes I went all the way to New York and facetimed with my wife from the top of all the tall buildings while I stayed on the ground) , I have decided to allow myself to be thrown out of a perfectly good airplane, along side a good friend James!!! All in the name of fundraising….
so please, I am not asking you to give a lot, just as much as you are comfortable with, in this case every little does help!! I have set a modest target, but deep down hope we can smash that, to really show the Derby Royal Stroke Ward (410) how appreciative we all are for the amazing life saving work they do!!!!
Sinfin Community Centre have very kindly offered to accept the donations in order for us to make sure they go directly to the stroke ward, and are not swallowed up within the general hospital finances.
please, please please dig deep, share and support this great cause.
Thank you all so much, Mick. ❤️
